• Applicant is working or planning to work in the PreK-14 education field

• Personal statement (2 page limit) addressing how completion of the master’s degree will (1) affect the professional growth of the applicant and (2) improve PreK-14 education

• Be pursuing the Master of Science degree in Counseling, School or College Counseling option, or the PPS Credential in School Counseling.
• Must demonstrate evidence of superior academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Additionally, applicants must submit a personal statement (500 words max.) addressing how they have grown personally and professionally from being a student in the Counseling program, and what they will take away from the program that will benefit their counseling work with future students.

The Marcie Stewart Memorial Scholarship is awarded to currently enrolled undergraduate students majoring one of the STEM disciplines. This scholarship was created in memory of Marcie Stewart, a CSUDH alumna who majored in mathematics and taught for the department. Students are selected based on academic performance and promise.
Amount: $750

Requirements:

• Must be an current undergraduate STEM major
• Have an overall college GPA of at least 3.0
• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student in Fall 2025
• Students will be asked for letter(s) of recommendation, unofficial transcripts, and a personal statement addressing a specific prompt listed in the application

• Must have, or be in a process of completing, a computer science undergraduate degree

• Must have taken an active role in Theatre and/or Dance Activities
• Must have been recognized by the faculty, scenic/costume/lighting/sound designers, and technical staff as a skilled student excelling in technical theatre
• Must have demonstrated commitment to technical theatre in Department of Theatre and Dance

• Digital Portfolio Submission: Submit a PDF or Word Document with a link from a file hosting service such as Dropbox or Google Drive where your Digital Portfolio can be viewed. Include up to 6 works of art created in a course at CSUDH with painting as the primary output.  Works can be in any medium and you may submit up to three images for each artwork.  The more cohesive the body of work the more points will be awarded.  Provide a brief artists statement that explains content and meaning of the art work you are submitting (no more that 100 words.)
